I am pleased to be invited as one of the speakers for an upcoming seminar on the 24th March 2008 at URA Centre (2pm - 5pm) with a target audience of 60 to 80 MINDEF officers that will be transiting in 1 to 2 years’ time.

This event is held in conjunction with the training arm of ST Electronics and Vector Scorecard. I will be touching on the following areas:-

• Overall view on the employment trends in Singapore.
• What has been the job scene in Singapore for the past 3 years?
• What is the future job scene in Singapore ahead of the major changes in the economic landscape?
• Which employment sectors are experiencing strong performance, and which are laggards?
• What are the key characteristics of individual major industry, in terms of economic rewards and risks?
• What are the various schemes that you can tap on to get yourself ready for the marketplace?
